Ginger “GG” is a great little girl that is a joy to have in her foster home. She loves people of all ages and sizes, kids included. Ginger is not a high needs or high maintenance puppy and loves being outside in the fenced yard at her foster home. Ginger is able to be independent and happily entertains herself inside and outside. As with all puppies, she loves to chew and anything fabric has a short life. She is “digger - mouser - hunter” but she will also help herself to a stick to chew on if left to her own devices in the yard. She is a strong and persistent puppy on the leash and does need further training on her leash manners and leash reactivity. Ginger needs to learn that dogs are her friends and she has developed friendships with Oscar and Baloo (both large breed dogs), she plays really well with these two and does best with introductions in a safe, fenced, off-leash environment. She is house trained and sleeps throughout the night, and anytime during the day, in her crate. She will settle in her crate and sleep, even with the other dogs visiting in the home. Ginger is a smart girl that is a quick learner and very food motivated. She would be a good pup for agility training as she likes to move and is fast. A family with kids that can help with her training and playing could be a really good match for her energy.
